Selecting the right backup plan

Capacity for Remote Data Backup plans is based on the total size of files you have currently selected for backup. We recommend 1 Full backup a week (one during the weekend) and 4, 5 or 6 Incremental or Differential backups a week (one of every single workday).

To see how much total used space you have on your C: drive, open Windows Explorer, click on My Computer, right click on "Local Drive (C)" , and click Properties. Used space is displayed in Gigabytes (GB).

To determine the size of your backup needs, you can add up the sizes of all the files you want to back up. Right click each directory and select Properties. Many important files are typically stored in your My Documents directory.

Determining your storage amount

You decide how often and how much to backup. We recommend 1 Full backup a week (one during the weekend) and 4, 5 or 6 Incremental or Differential backups a week (one of every single workday). You can view your transfer logs via Email notification when a backup session is complete. Storage volume is based on the amount of data transferred to our remote storage facilities.

Important Note: Due to our compression technology, the size of your files are considerably reduced.
The fee scale below applies to the compressed file size, not the actual size of your files.
In most cases, compression will reduce your file size by approximately 65%. Multimedia content, zip archives and other previously compressed file formats will not further compress and are counted directly against your storage allocation.

SERVICE PACKAGE PLANS

There is no charge for the backup software, installation and configuration, technical support or data purges. If you require an Open File Manager, an one-time licensing fee will be incurred.

If for any reason you are not absolutely delighted with the ease-of-use, safety or convenience of our service - please let us know immediately. We will either fix the issue or refund 100 percent of your monthly service fee - your choice. Absolutely no hassles.

All packages include use of Microsoft Windows®-compatible backup software. Licensed users can perform an unlimited number of backups and restorations using an existing Internet connection (24/7/365). While each PC/server must have its own username, disk storage quota is “pooled” across all currently active user accounts included in the package. Custom quotes are available for larger installations.
